If you had to write a poem about your life RIGHT NOW, what would it be about? Explain your answer in at least 4 to 5 sentences.

Prompt Response: If I had to write a poem of my life it would be about my childhood. I grew up spending a lot of time outside, hiking and camping. We also have a big garden in our front yard that my childhood very much revolved around. I remember coming home from school when I was little and eating strawberries warm from the sun. I also feel very satisfied getting to pick produce from the garden and cook and eat with it. Overall, I would write my poem about nature and it's role in my childhood.

Summary: Today in class we presented our Chapter 6 projects.

Reflection: I got better presentation and public speaking skills.

When Celie says, “The God I been praying and writing to is a man. And act just like all the other mens I know,” she expresses disappointment, betrayal, and disillusionment. Discuss a moment in your own life when something you believed in turned out to be different than what you imagined. How did this realization shape your identity or worldview?

In "The Lamb" and "The Tyger", both poems suggest that beauty and danger can come from the same source. Describe a time when something or someone you admired also scared or challenged you. How did that experience change the way you see the world or the idea of “goodness”?
